This policy explains what SYNTHIEN AI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and keep your content scoped to your workspace.
What we collect
Account information you give us, such as your email address. Usage data about how the Service runs, such as which models you use and how many credits a run costs. And the content you bring: the documents, notes, sheets, and conversations in your workspace.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive a record that a purchase happened; we never see or store your card number.
How we use your data
We use your data to run the Service: to answer your questions, retrieve and cite passages, meter credits, keep the Service secure and reliable, and support you when you ask.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to advertise to you.
Your documents and the models
Your content is scoped to your tenant and isolated per project. It is processed to answer your questions and is not used to train third-party models without your consent.
When you choose a local model, your content stays on your own infrastructure. When you choose a cloud model (for example ChatGPT or DeepSeek), the content needed to answer your question is sent to that provider to generate the response, under their terms.
Sharing and disclosure
We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting and payment processors, under contracts that limit them to that purpose, and with the model providers you choose to run.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights, or security of our users and the Service.
Storage, security, and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and protected by access controls. We keep your content while your account is active and delete it when you remove it or close your account, subject to short operational backups and any legal retention we are required to keep.
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your content from within the workspace, and you can ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data.

We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
