Research

The AI Researcher plans a report section by section, runs it, and extends it later.

Plan, then run

  1. 1With the AI Researcher on (the switch on top of the Note or Chat composer), ask for a new note: send your topic on the Note tab with no note open, or type /note and your topic from any tab.
  2. 2A plan appears in the Plan pane. Each section has its sources: Corpus, Web, or Corpus + web. Add a section or delete one.
  3. 3Press Start research. The pane counts sections as they finish; Stop keeps the ones already written.
  4. 4View report opens the finished report as a note, cited throughout.
  5. 5Extend research adds a new section to the same report.

Time and cost

Drafting the plan costs nothing; Start research is the step that does. Each section runs as a question of its own, so a report costs more than a single question. The plan's footer estimates the minutes, the sources and the cost before you start.
